Chicago is most definitely, without a doubt, the greatest city in the world, regardless of what the critics and negative news syndicates say about Chicago, I genuinely love Chicago, and would not want to live anywhere else in the world. The only other city that comes close to the awesomeness of Chicago would have to be London, although I have yet to go there, as they have tons and tons and tons of vegan restaurants, which truly define vegan friendly, but unbeknown to many, the lovely city of Chicago and surrounding suburbs, also has an abundance of vegan restaurants, and I promise you will not go hungry if you are a vegan in Chicagoland, as a matter of fact, if you LOVE food as much as I do, being a vegan in Chicago requires discipline, otherwise you will not be able to fit into your favorite pants, dress or skirt!
Whether you are craving vegan omlettes, vegan croissants, vegan milkshakes, vegan lasagna, vegan soul food, vegan pizza, vegan ice cream, vegan brownies, vegan doughnuts, vegan cookies, vegan cake, vegan hamburgers, vegan sausage, vegan steak, vegan fish, vegan seafood, vegan tacos, vegan coleslaw, vegan chicken salad, vegan candy, vegan pasta, vegan stuffed meatballs, vegan calzones, vegan salad, vegan mac and cheese, or whatever your palate desires, come to Chicago today and get your fulfillment of the finest vegan food in the world! The first two restaurants on the list, The Chicago Diner and Dimoโs Pizza are my top two vegan restaurants in Chicago, and while I have not frequented every vegan restaurant in Chicago, as I would easily weigh over 1000 pounds, these are at the top of my Chicago vegan foodie list!

- The Chicago Diner, with several locations throughout Chicago, has some of the most delectable vegan food I have ever tasted and is vegan and vegetarian friendly; and they also have a good selection of gluten-free food. I have had their milkshakes, chocolate cake and tofu scramble and let me tell you, I was in vegan paradise when my tastebuds started singing!!!! They won the Chicago Reader โBest of Chicago Readersโ Choice award, โBest Vegan Restaurantโ in 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014. Check out their website at https://veggiediner.com/locations/
- Dimoโs Pizza, Chicago is known for its deep-dish pizza, but the vegan sausage pizza at Dimoโs Pizza is effortlessly one of the best tasting pizzas in the world! They have four locations through Chicago, and even though Dimoโs Pizza is not solely a vegan pizzeria, they do offer an abundance of mouthwatering extra cheesy vegan pizzas and even have a vegan menu, some of their vegan pizzas are the Vegan Florence Ballard, The Vegan Mac, The Vegan Stamets, The Vegan Margherita, The Vegan Dimo Florentine, The Vegan BBQ Chicken Cheddar Ranch, The Vegan Buff Chick and the Vegan Elote. Check them out at https://dimospizza.com
- Soul Veg City is a Black-owned restaurant on Chicagoโs South Side specializing in some of the yummiest vegan soul food in the world! Some of the vegan food on their tempting menu includes but not limited to Cauliflower Wings, Jerk Nachos, Mushroom Buttons, Sweet Potato Fries, Kale Greens and Cornbread Muffins, Stir-Fry Vegetables, Noodles Stir Kai, The Italian V, Amazing Gyro, Vegan Shrimp Boat, Vegan Fish & Tartar, Black-Eyed Pea Burger, Sloppy Joe, Citrus Detox Smoothie, Boomerang Smoothie, Peanut Butter and Berry Smoothie and Southwest Salad. - XMarket Vegan Food Hall, is one one Chicagoโs newest vegan dining experiences, featuring six vegan restaurants! I just found out about the XMarket Vegan Food Hall today as my dear brother is always on the lookout for vegan restaurants for me and came across this pretty cool vegan food hall, Chicagoโs first 100-percent vegan food hall!! It is a 6,500 square foot vegan haven and located in Chicagoโs Uptown neighborhood on Montrose Ave; and was recently opened this month, featuring all vegan restaurants including Kale My Name, Bloom Plant Based Kitchen, Kitchen 17, Chicago Not Dogs, and El Hongo Magico Plant-Based Taqueria. Check them out at https://plantx.com/pages/xmarket-food-hall
- Kitchen 17, located at 2554 W Diversey, is home of the original Chicago vegan deep-dish pizza! I love pizza and can literally eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner, if I was not concerned about my weight, but it is more than okay to treat yourself to a couple of slices of Chicago vegan deep dish pizza; and what you will love most about Kitchen 17 is their menu is 100% entirely vegan, and you can order anything from their famous vegan deep dish pizza to their vegan Mac and Cheese. Oh, and I forgot to mention they will even ship their pizza to you if are unable to make it to Chi-town, aka, Chicago. Check them out at https://kitchen17.com

How have you been? I hope and pray you are well. I am doing well and so delighted the fall season is finally here as I am not a fan of hot and humid weather. I know it has been a spell since you heard from me and I am sorry about that as I have been super busy with so many things; and have not had as much time to write, but I thank the Good Lord for all He has done throughout my life, blessing me with a job, a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes to wear and the will to keep on pursuing my goals, no matter how challenging it can be.
Thank you always for following my blog and I will be in touch sooner than later. Have a wonderful weekend and keep on pursing your goals and dreams. Donโt ever give up, no matter how depressed, hopeless, or defeated you feel, keep on pursing your goals and dreams! I will talk to you soon… Have a blessed week!
